This is Doug the Meerkat.  He's the excavator within the group, responsible for digging the tunnel network used around the garden by the family.  Doug's solar powered helmet charges when outside, allowing him to see when underground and at night time.

Position him in a sunny spot in your garden, and watch as the solar light shines brightly for up to 6 hours in the evening.

Standing 40cm tall, he's quick to spot danger and will quickly warn his family members of any approaching threats.  Luckily, his shovel also doubles as a weapon when required, which can be quite an effective defence against natural predators - such as solar powered werewolves.
